I was checking this out this weeknd and lo and behold the track list was right

WRS prelude ONLY! No WRS, no let it grow. I didn't realize they actually played just the prelude by itself. Is this like old news to everyone else?

Also, check out Wolfman Jack introducing the second set. Cool

I hadn't realized they were doing it either so I did some research. They played Prelude 5 times alone:

7/21/72
11/19/72
3/21/73
3/26/73
3/28/73

Part 1 was added on 4/2/73

LIG was played but not part of WRS on 9/7/73 and then the next night they played them all together for the first time. They played them together until the break, last one 10/18/74. Sorry for not adding links, got to get back to work!

They actually did this a few times, starting in 1972. My fav is 3/28/73.

Cool and special thanks to the recent 7-2-88 which I'd never been able to hear a proper recording of until now.

holy crap! My post actually garnered a response from the legendary Charlie Miller. I should win the post of the day award or something.

Thanks for all your efforts. I've wanted to know for a LONG time - how did you come to be the master remastering guy? Are you a professional engineer? It looks like you have an association with SKB, ever worked on any of the offical Dead releases? Just kind of always been intersted in how you got your hands involved in so much.
